Xavier Lewis | President

As President of the Hamilton County Young Democrats I want to build a group of other like-minded young people and give them the tools and access to candidates, campaigns, and having their concerns heard in government. As a demographic we have been chronically under activated and under represented in government. It's time for that to change. When I'm not working on politics I love to make things with me hands, whether that’s a costume for a renaissance faire, a new tool with my 3D printer, or making a birthday gift using leather.

Natalie Smith | Secretary

As the secretary, my focus includes keeping our team organized while also making sure everyone feels included and welcomed. I am passionate about making sure our community is informed, flourishing, and engaged. Outside of my involvement in local politics, I enjoy gaming, spending time outdoors, birding, and hanging out with my partner and our cat, Pepper.

Alex Waclawik | Treasurer

As the Treasurer, my primary goal is to keep the organization in good financial health, but I also take care of other things such as event planning, managing the technology the group uses, and recruitment. In my spare time, I enjoy going to see local bands, working on my car, and going to the shooting range.

Kim Qian | Comms Director

As Communications Director, I want to build a network of organizers for our Young Dems to partner with, connect our members with the right kind of engagement, and rework our strategy on social media. I believe Democrats need to offer voters bold solutions and fight for real change! My other interests include Content Creation and Esports!

Sarah Fix | Events Chair

As the event committee chair, I want to help our members get involved in their communities and develop relationships with each other. I learn things about a community or environment best when I interact with it - which is why I love hiking, traveling, going out to eat, and participating in protests and clean up projects. I like to explore parks like Potters Bridge and Brown County State Park with my two dogs, Evie and Rosie, and I love getting ice cream at Alexander’s on the Square.

Will Clontz | Social Media Chair

As the social media chair I strive to make engaging posts to drive attendance to HCYD events. While social media is more challenging than I originally thought it would be, it has been a great on-ramp to getting involved! Big priorities of mine include getting more young people involved in politics and driving engaging discussions within the group. Though my expression might not always show it, I am excited to be apart of the community. Outside of politics I love walking, visiting major cities, gaming, and concerts.
